Did you know we have B-Cycle stations on campus? They were placed on campus during the holidays, which isn’t the best time for riding a bike. But spring is upon us, which means it’s time to get out and enjoy the weather! B-Cycles are a great way to move across campus, run an errand, get lunch, or go someplace new. Avoid the stress of parking, make a healthier choice, and hop on one of the bikes whenever you want – – – and now you can ride for free!
On Wednesday, April 17th join us in the Student Plaza (ice rink area) between Michael Sorrell Center and Williams Science Hall for a B-Cycle event—free food, free helmets, free memberships!
Who: You! All Nebraska Medicine, UNMC, and Clarkson College faculty, staff, students are invited to this event.
When: Wednesday, April 17th from 10:30am – 2:00pm
Where: Student Plaza/Ice Rink between MSC and WSH
Inclement weather location: Truhlsen Events Center, main floor, Michael Sorrell Center
What: FUN!
Why: B-Cycles are a great resource and a good way to be physically active while reducing your carbon footprint. We are making it easy and fun for you to participate!
Not sure if you can or should participate? The answer is yes! We extended the event time to accommodate more lunch schedules, everything is free and easy, you can test ride an electric/pedal assist bike and there’s fun to be had!
